In this fatality accident, a contract worker engaged by the state of Pennsylvania to install traffic control devices inside a municipality died.  The exposure is real, regardless of who the direct employer is.  Through PSS, we can make the world a safer place, one employee and one community at a time.

A West Mifflin man was identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office as the construction worker who was killed in Pine Township Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a utility pole that fell.

Victor Charles Boytos, 25, was found unresponsive while on the job, according to the Medical Examiner.

Police, fire and emergency medical services were dispatched to the 5500 block of Graham Road shortly before 2:30 p.m., according to an Allegheny County 911 dispatch supervisor.
