PORT CLINTON — The lives of 28 people who died last year inside road construction zones are being honored with a traveling memorial.

Officials with the Ohio Department of Transportation’s second district, which includes Ottawa and Sandusky counties, hope the memorial will force drivers speeding through road construction zones to consider the safety of themselves and others.
